Since its establishment, DOAN Education Institute (College) has been striving to cultivate the human resources needed of the 21^st century. Education is a passage to freedom from the shackles of ignorance. In today’s dynamic world, education is an asset. Aristotle once said that “Educating the mind without educating the heart is not education”.

At DOAN Education Institute (College), even as we provide relevant tertiary courses and enhance our experiential learning. By engaging students in hands-on experiences and reflection, they are better able to connect theories and knowledge learned in the classroom to real-world situations. However, as we strive for holistic education we know it does not end at just academic learning. We make sure our students are rooted in the values and knowledge of the Word of God. With God’s heart and based on the Christian spirit, DOAN Education Institute (College) was established to realize this goal through education.

Kenya’s current social, economic, and educational environment has declined over the last couple of years due to various socio-economic factors. This has seen countless talented people leaving the country looking for educational and economic opportunities, and sadly most of them never return. We are confident that DOAN Education Institute (College) will serve as an opportunity for Kenya to educate genuine Kenyan talents with a heart of God to lay the foundation for national development.

Under the spirit of wisdom and truth our founding pillars, DOAN Education Institute (College) takes the lead in fostering the talents who lead the evangelization and industrialization of this country. In addition, we will train talented people with a heart for the community. A new generation of workers who are God fearing and reflect the values of humility, integrity, loyalty, respect and diligence.

Challenges are never easy especially in this era that we live in. It is our promise to make our graduates not only successful in academic realms but in areas of spiritual growth and development. With God’s help, we will challenge ourselves in a DOAN-like way and create new value as DOANIANS.
